Is it possible to recover deleted files from trash from within the secure folder?

If you are talking about Google's Safe Folder, the answer is unfortunately, no.

If you're talking about Samsung's Secure Folder, it does have a trash can. Deleted photos can be accessed from the trash using the Gallery or the My Files apps.

However, if they were deleted from the trash can & you didn’t have them backed up, then they are basically gone.

Secure Folder, eh? I just thought the OP had misnamed Safe Folder. Sorry OP. I learn something new every day.

So true, but I sometimes forget that there is a parallel universe outside of "all things Google." This experience has me thinking that it might be time that I seriously consider joining a Google Anonymous Group (GAG), even though I have already completed some of the required 12 steps, like giving up Google Launcher, Google Chrome, Google Keyboard, Google Messenger (I only use it sparingly and don't think there is any chance of relapse - ya, I know what you are thinking ) . . .
