Photo widget - - Where did it go?

I'm moving from a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge to a Pixel Xl. Besides the Google pictures program (whatever it's called), I can't find a widget to photos on a home page. I use Nova Launcher, so I can and do have multiple home pages, and I always put charts for work (or pictures of the family) on one of two of them.

How do I do this or what app do I install on the pixel xl?

Solved my own problem. Settled on Nice Simple Photo Widget. It will give you a rotating photo show, if you like (I don't), and show pictures with a frame, if you like (I don't), and has a bunch of other features. And it also has ads. BUT for 99¢, you can get rid of the ads in this and their other widgets.
