Photon $99 at Radio Shack for new customers only? NOT ME

So being a sprint customer for 10+ years I was pissed that I have to pay $199 for the Photon and people brand new to sprint are blessed with a $99 price tag. So I called up Sprint and let them know about it. I ended up getting a 14+ year rep with sprint and he also stated it was BS and he would be pissed as well. He asked what I would like him to do to resolve my issue? I stated I would like the Photon for $99 and have it overnight to me with no activation fee, I was put on hold and then told he would charge me $199 on my bill with a immediate $100 credit and waive activation fee and overnight the phone this morning. I hear a lot of complaints about Sprint and it is never been my experience. Just felt I should share this info with the users of this forum so they can share in the price drop.

thats a great price. I wish I did that before ordering mine. I ordered mine for 150 plus 18 upgrade free. Still got a good price though.

Strange, I added my line as a second line on my Wife's plan. When I went to the RS site, it showed $99 for the Photon, but then when I selected "converting from individual to a family plan" it changed the price to $179 (plus $9.99 shipping)... which is still $10.00 cheaper than $199, but it sucks that even RS doesn't give the same discount across the board. I may still call Sprint tomorrow to see what they can do for me.
