Photon Texting Issue - Response Starts New Thread

With one contact in particular, when I send a response to his text it creates a new thread. So I essentially have one thread with what I've sent to him and one thread with his replies. So far this doesn't happen to anyone else. I've tried deleting the thread but it recreates it when I send a response. I've tried removing his phone number from his contact information but it continues. Any ideas?

Rebooting seems to fix that problem. I've experienced it too.

I wish there were a way without rooting the phone to simply schedule a daily reboot. I can't understand why that ability is not easily available to every android device.

Reboot! Duh why didn't I think of that. I'll have to try that if it's still happening next time he texts me.
