You was taking pics last night at a banquet and the colors were completely off in my pics. Had the same issue with my 4XL a month ago after she had a performance there. It's got to have something to do with the lighting in the school and the pixel line. Took a couple pics with my husband's s22 ultra and it oversaturated but didn't have the color cast. Any idea what to do to prevent it next time or will I just always have issues in fluorescent lighting?

I've seen some issues with orange/red lighting -- what kind of lighting did you have?

Also, were you using Night Sight or the standard mode?

Do you have RAW enabled? Colors will be washed out viewing them. Also try viewing on PC since I have noticed preview pictures do not look the same as what is in library on computer. S22 screen has jacked up/vivid colors when viewing on phone compared to pixel.

I assume it was floursecent lighting in the school. The pictures have a yellowish tint to them. Shooting in standard mode, not night sight. And no RAW. I even toggled the white balance in settings between groups of pics and it made no difference

Pic from a few weeks ago and last night. Different locations, same building and lighting.

Next time you see that, try shooting with Night Sight and see if there's a difference.

imo its just a white balance problem that you can easily solve by editing these photos in the google photos app. the lighting is just too difficult for the camera to auto white balance. probably most cameras will struggle here. you can try in edit to auto adjust the white balance or pick a spot in the photo where it should be white or even better a neutral gray. the way i see them, they are a little on the warm side. its not uncommon for photos to require some editing, especially indoor shots where the camera has to guess at the source of the light. for all you know the school has some warm lights and some cool lights and different types.
