Photos app (not Gallery) and sharing to facebook.

It appears that the Photos app (not the Gallery app) doesn't share to Facebook properly.
I select a photo (or photos) and hit the share button, select Facebook.
It thinks about it for a few seconds, then the Facebook post screen appears but with no photos attached.

If i do it from the Gallery app then everything works fine.

So any ideas why the Photos app fails? And do other have the same problem?

Mine on the GPE M8 won't share to Facebook either. It's the exact same issue you're talking about. The GPE doesn't have the gallery app, so I downloaded another app (Quickpic) that works. You can also share from the camera roll, I think. Not sure what the problem is with that app, but you're definitely not crazy.

Same issue. Google should fix this in an update.

I share on Instagram and choose Facebook in Instagram app.

Are you viewing photos on the camera or through Google (online)? You should have the option if you view the camera photos. If the option shows then hopefully it's fixed in the year that this thread was started.
