Photos, music not showing up on phone, but show up on computer?

Like an *****, I deleted a bunch of random miscellaneous files on my Galaxy Core Prime to make room for an app. In my defense it was like 2 AM and I was delirious. Anyway, all my photos and music on my phone disappeared, and I panicked. "No tracks," "No folders," "No albums," "No items," even in my media folders in the file manager. This morning I plugged my phone into the computer and went to the respective folders and found all the data intact? Why isn't it showing anywhere on my phone?
