Photos not showing up in the gallery

So all of the sudden my photos which I took a couple of days ago are no
longer showing up in my gallery. It's really strange. My gallery has been acting weird
lately. When I go into USB mode. I can clearly see the photos are there and label
just like every other photo. Does anyone have any ideas? I thought maybe it had something
to do with when I reverted CWM back to an older version. I checked to see
if there was a nomedia file in there but there wasn't. Should I maybe just reinstall
the ROM I am running again to give everything a fresh start? I don't mind wipe system/data
to get a clean install.

I had this problem before. I installed quicpick and it made my photos appear in my gallery.

I had to rest my phone this past week and just started experience the same thing. I my tablet is show the place holders for the pictures that are in my google + account but the pictures do not display. WHat is going on?:-\

You would be better off using QuickPic as suggested. Gallery doesn't even give you true resolution on your pics. And it's slow.

If you insist on sticking with Gallery, long story short you need to force a sd images rescan.. easy fix is to download an app called SDrescan.
