Android Central Question

I have my Galaxy S8 camera set on the highest resolution 4.2 (12M) 4021x3024. Took photos on our trip to Hawaii that we had hoped we could turn into canvas prints for our walls.

When I choose the photo (doesn't matter which photo) I get the message that the resolution is too low and will look pixillated. (probably spelled wrong)

I am so disappointed. We so wanted to be able to use some of these photos for our home decor.

Anyone know why this is happening? I had this problem before with eBay photos so I 'upped' the resolution to the highest one in hopes that it would solve the problem - but nothing has changed.

My photos taken with my Note5 worked great! Any ideas what went wrong or what IS wrong?

Thanks much.

How frustrating!

Are you using a Costco app or their website? Is the low-res warning coming from your phone’s gallery app, or from the Costco site/app? Perhaps the problem has something to do with upload quality settings you can set with Costco rather than your phone or photos themselves.

Oh, and what size prints are you trying to order? I wonder if Costco has a minimum resolution requirement for printing photos at certain sizes.
