Pi Charging

Searched, didn't see anything posted so I apologize if it has been.

I just read an article on a new QI charger called Pi, in which you don't have to actually place your charger on it.

According to their website:

Great concept and I hope it actually works anywhere close to what they claim. Since everyone in my house (four of us) can charge wireless, I will probably invest in one as a kind of central charging hub. Plus it would be great for friends/other family who have phones that can do it as well.

I'm afraid I'd have to know lots more about this statement before I'd spend any money on it. What about other magnetic objects nearby? And the website is very unimpressive.

I think that's a good idea. But no reviews can be found so can't trust now!
