Pics Won't Delete

What am I doing wrong? I go into my "gallery" folder and delete pics from all saved places and they keep showing back up. I have deleted the same pics 5+ times and after a day or so they show up again!

They might be photos in your Google+/Picasa cloud albums. Go to your Google+ Photos page on the web and see if the photos are there. Delete them there if you want to get rid of them.

Thanks! I guess it has to do with having automatic backup on?

Probably. If you don't want to auto-backup, open Photos, tap menu, then Settings, then Auto-Backup, and turn it off.
