picture gallery cannot delete photo

Hi All
When I press the home screen and the gallery comes up, it includes some old deleted photos from Google+. They are not there when I go into the regular gallery app. And I cannot find a way to delete them. They are only there when I long press the homepage and apps/wallpapers come up. They are not included when I look at my gallery in file manager. It appears they are "stuck" and only visible when I long press the home screen. I know its a Google+ thing but not sure how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks

I had the same issue I think it because you have synchronised accounts and it has imported them they are not on your device but like on the cloud I think you have to unsyncronise and delte from Google drive or goggle plus
