Picture-in-picture placement

Not sure if this is strictly S21-related...but this didn't happen on my S9+.
Basically, the picture-in-picture defaults to the very bottom right corner of the screen. In the past, I've been able to drag it further up to a different location on the screen...but on my new S21, when I drag it anywhere then let it go, it flies off the screen completely. The sound still plays as if it's still there, but the PIP is gone.
Is there a setting that allows me to place the PIP anywhere I want? I've checked in settings but can't find anything.

Just try not flicking it so hard. I just tried PIP and its fine. But if you move the screen to far to the left or right side it goes almost gone. There is a small sliver that you can still see.

I'm not flicking it. I'm dragging it slow. Along the side, up the middle...every time I do it, when I let it go it just flies completely off the bottom of the screen.

thats weird. I tried to do everything on my phone to see if it would do that but it didn't. Do you have a screen protector on? is screen sensitivity up? are you having any touch screen issues?

I'm able to drag mines anywhere just fine.
