Picture message problem

Hey guys done some searching and no love. So when I get a picture message from my wife or mother they come through sidewards. Not with saved photos only ones they have taken on their camera, I have to save the image edit it rotate it and delete the old one. Massive pain in the *** and what can i do to fix it. They both have Samsung S6 if that's any help. Doing my dam head in. If they send me a picture that they have saved or downloaded it comes through fine. Only photos they have taken and send... HELP!
