Like the title says I have a problem with the quality in which my pictures turn out when I post it to instagram. In my gallery or even in the screen before the picture is processed on IG the quality is normal and perfect, after its posted however it looks so pixelated and ugly. So I googled my problem its a well known problem it seems and I tried some methods but none work. One method was to use this app called "Resize" by nSystem and I have been unable to use it properly. You're supposed to create a new profile that change the dimensions of the photo to 612x612 but I have no idea how to do this. There is no menu option to make that happen(unless its hidden somewhere). Anyways my question is if someone has the app how do I use it? If you do not have the app but know of an app or method to make my pictures come out normal please let me know.

I'd try Photo Grid. It automatically converts your picture (or pictures since this is mainly used for collages) into an Instagram-ready frame.

This happened to me on the S4, but an Instagram update made it go away... I'm not sure why some S5's don't seem to have the issue and some do, but it's definitely on Instagram's side...

Thanks for the reply! I tried Photo Grid and the quality is still significantly worst than the original :(

Told you. It's not the phone or the app you're using, it's Instagram. You can try to turn off the "Use High-Quality Image Processing" option, that seemed to help some users before.

I tried turning that off and on but it doesn't do a single thing haha. Yeah IG has terrible Android support.... Damn this sucks so much. I post on IG a lot and it hurts to see such a quality lost in my photos.... Thanks for the help tho. I guess I just have to cross my fingers for a fix from IG.

A suggestion though, report it. Use the report feature from the app. Really, they do read those. I'm not saying it'll be fast, but unless they know about it, they won't fix it.

I reported it through the app itself and emailed them. Hopefully they answer back or better yet fix the problem. Thanks again!
