My battery was very low and I was trying to e mail pics to myself so I would not lose my valuable pics!
My phone battery dies and when it was fully charged the pics and videos were all gone!!! Disappeared!
Does anyone know how to get these pics back?
Welcome to Android Central! If the battery died while the phone was trying to write data to the card, the card might have become corrupted. Unmount the card (in Settings>Storage), remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can you see the files using Windows Explorer? Back up any data you see, then run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html
Another possibility is that the card is counterfeit, where someone takes a smaller capacity card and reprograms it to think it's larger than it is. If you try saving more data to it than it can actually hold, you can start losing that data. Use SD Insight to check its validty.
