I'm about to trade in my galaxy s7 with my carrier. I originally bought an s7 and had to do a warranty claim shortly after. I never took notice and don't know if they were there before or how long they have been there, but I count at least 6 pin sized tiny pink dots on my screen that will not go away. I got the original 18 months ago and the claim phone 3 months or less after that. I've never dipped my phone in water, though I have laid it in the back of the shower for music a handful of times. The spots are barely noticeable, but I'm worried my carrier will tell me they won't accept my exchange.
Does anyone know what these tiny pinkish/lavender spots might be caused from? And has anyone ever had a carrier tell them no for upgrade (I still owe 100 or so on my s7) after receiving the old one by mail?
