What color did you end up purchasing?

I bought the gold. I like it much better than I thought. I expected to hate it but I've gotten so many compliments on it with a the (clear back) Spigen Crystal Rose Ultra Hybrid case. The rose color blends with the gold so there is just a touch of clear rose color around the border. I'm quite smitten with the color combination I'd also read (early on) not to give up, they might come out with white for the US market but when the phone went on sale for $100 I couldn't wait any longer. But PINK GOLD (sigh) This year's Pantone Color of the Year is Rose Quartz and Serenity (purple hued blue). There will be anything from cars to cell phones to fashion and home interiors in these colors. I've already seen TV stage set designs incorporating these colors and of course textiles.

Smh, this Rose Gold / Pink color trend needs to go away. Just because Apple made an off-gold color phone does not mean everyone needs to follow.

It will go away just like every other color trend. And just like every other color trend, there are those that like it (and those that don't).
