Pitaka case on p2xl

Does anyone here have one? Was wondering about the quality and whether or not it had enough lip to protect the screen. Not one to use protectors...

Yep I've had one for a couple months. I love the case but there isn't a lip at all. It's as minimal as you get. Screen is not protected. I love using it with their car mount.

What do you do for screen protection?

Nothing so far. Been risking it but just ordered this one the other day. https://www.sgfreshidea.com/invisshield-true-fit/google-full-adhesive/pixel-2-xl-tempered-glass.html It's expensive and takes a while to arrive. This thread has a lot of posts about it. Not an easy install due to the liquid loca glue.

Sorry to bump but I figured I'd give my two cents on this case.

Just received my case yesterday and the quality is impeccable. Feels great in the hand and looks amazing. Also ordered a vent magnet with it and that is awesome as well.

Although I have to say I am going to be switching to the diztronic case (ordered yesterday after having the Magcase on for a few hours). Reason why is because of what henderjr said, no lip, meaning no screen protection at all.

I put my SGFreshIdea screen protector on last weekend and am not disappointed though it was a pain to install. A fully covered screen and the Pitaka case is enough for me. I've never felt the need to put my phone screen down and don't have much of a history of dropping my phone. Plus I have insurance..

Just got the Pitaka case and car vent and I too can attest the quality, feel in the hand and look is stunning. the case is super light, durable and just looks fantastic. Great cutouts, although the top and bottom is exposed. I don't mind that at all as i always tend to buy cases that add little to no bulk. 5/5 for me!

Yeah, it's definitely an amazing case. Just wish it had a tiny lip lol, I don't put my screen down either but I have been known to drop my phone once in a blue moon and the tiny bit of lip would help if the screen does end up facing down. Unfortunately I hate the feel of screen protectors and since I am keeping the phone for the long haul, I don't mind any tiny scratches.

I agree, I wish the Pitaka had more of a lip to it. it's the one thing that's stopping me from buying it
