I don't think this is possible though I'm asking anyways.
Is there añy way to charge a pixel XL without a working charger port ?

Í knew it B Diddy ohh we'll keep on keeping on guess it's on to the Pixel 2 then

Oh no... you were one of our last original pixel holdouts besides me lol. I just retired my original pixel a couple months ago... still working great. They were tough, dependable phones. I doubt you can find any pixel 2's still in good working order, but there are brand new pixel 3's still available for cheap, I picked a 3xl up a while back...very nice phones, a huge step up in screen quality, sound, and speed over your original xl.

Plus they have all the new features like wireless charging, the Titan security chip, active edge/squeeze for assistant, and are still getting security updates and will be getting Android 12 next month. A steal for pixel fans :p

I'm using a pixel 4 As standard for a month now but yes The XL is no more it copped what I'd say is just plain beatings wàsnt safest in its end life :). Agree with everything you said,I do have a Pixel 2,Condition Just physicaly worn good.

Yeah considering the pixel 4 Is next Year October & Pixel 3 3XL are This October. I did go for the 3XL but found a refurbed practically new & local pixel 4 for just less then 350. So I spent the Little extra.

Hey with wireless charging how does that exaçtly work ? I have not seen a setting ? Assistant
Biggest flaw no Head Jack !!!

Yeah, no headphone jack could be a problem for some. Concerning wireless charging; there is nothing you have to do on the phone. Just set it on a Qi compatible wireless charger and it works. You can get a decent one on Amazon for $10-$15, so you can go that route if you want to keep your Pixel.

Beware of the EDL bug that's been showing up on Pixel 3 phones, though -- that might be what also killed my 3 XL. https://www.androidcentral.com/google-pixel-3-edl-mode-bug-bricked

Man B thanks for showing me that..... I turn my phone off at night since we have a landline, so my phones never stay on, plugged in and charging all night. I do sometimes plug them in while they're on to top them off for the next day...but from now on it's only getting charged while off. Lately I've noticed sometimes when I go to power my 3xl on I'll hold the power button down, but get no Google logo or boot up images of any kind, all black..... then after a short delay I'll push the power button again and the lock screen pops up.

The first couple times I thought it was dead, but it always comes on and works fine. That behavior started after I updated some system apps in the play store. I'm now wondering if I already have that issue? Did your 3xl show any symptoms like that before it died? I'm thinking of installing the 12 beta then factory resetting... some folks suggested a factory reset might help avoid the problem.

Ironically I was getting a backup phone ready today because it felt like the right thing to do lol.

I don't recall any worrisome behavior before it happened. There might have been one or two unexpected reboots in the preceding months, but no acceleration of any odd behavior.

Thanks for the feedback :D I guess I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best.... I'm really enjoying my 3xl, I see why you liked it so much, its an awesome phone :p
