Just doing the swap from my PF and I'll install the Spigen Slim Armor case once that's all done

Saw the new Fold at Verizon today. I'm not sure that I like a taller device. The current Fold fit in some of my hiking shirt pockets allowing the velcro or snap closures to work. Taller will probably interfere with that security.

What does the new form factor buy? Better Video playback dimensions? Better side by side apps? They must have been aiming for some specific improvement in changing the dimensions. Or did they need the taller unit to stuff the innards with necessary electronics when making the unit skinnier. Clearly, from some comments they rearranged the Qi antenna for some reason - again to accommodate needed internals???

Its very good; absolutely the step up expected

You soon get used to the design of it; it still works superbly with my fat fingers/thumbs/hands etc

The original Fold is still an excellent device IMO and I'll miss it and its form factor when it goes

All the apps I use don't have any issues thankfully... I don't game or use forum apps (ie Reddit etc)

Chome, Kindle, YT, my banking apps, Pocketmags, Gmail and the likes are all as they should be thankfully.

It definitely does. Had glass screen protector in cameras for Pixel Fold. Didn't realize how good the photos were until I removed.

I'm using the zfold6 and flip now but my only reservation is the tensor chip. If it was a Snapdragon SOC I'd buy in a heartbeat. Yes I'm sort of bummed and conflicted.
In a parallel universe I'd be using the moto RAZR+2024 and fold9 pro.

I also had one on my original fold and it didn't cause any issues
