Moved to Pixel 2 from a Samsung S6 and so far all has been great. Digging the Pixel 2.

One minor issue, the Adaptive brightness feature seems sensitive. I was reading the screen last night in my den and the screen kept dimming and then brightnening several times in about 3 second intervals. This is something I haven't seen on my S6 before.

Do I have something incorrectly adjusted? Just a trick of the lighting conditions at the time? Anyone else notice this?

Thanks,

- Marty

well.. most likely just an issue with the lighting that the lux sensor was seeing at the time. I have noticed that the 2 XL's a bit quicker on the draw to adjust brightness, and in places where lighting gets funky.... dark rooms with a bright light source somewhere that the sensor can see. Like driving home at night and passing under the bright sodium lamps on the highway.

There isn't much to adjust there as far as the sensitivity.

A bunch of people have complained about that. It happened to me too. I ended up turning off adaptive brightness bc it was so annoying.
