Pixel 2 led not working

After installing Light Manager, mine works with gmail notifications and blinks red when charging is completed (but only after it hits 100%).

So, the light randomly started working when I was out today. I had several notifications when I checked my phone after an hour or two without use and the light was blinking. I'm not sure if one app in particular triggered it maybe? I cleared the notifications and then tested it out with texts (which definitely had not been working before) and the light worked again. Hopefully it continues to work with all apps.

Allo, at least, isn't lighting it.

I checked with my friend at google again and he said it should be a simple software fix. So that's good news at least.

Instagram just lit mine up with a light blue color.
I heard Allo is supposed to use an amber-like color. Can anyone confirm?

I can't get mine to light up for notifications. I installed Light Flow, ran the test and it did come on so at least I know the light works. I also cannot get vibrate to work for text messages. I have notifications for texts set to none but there is no option for vibrate. Was this removed in Oreo? I'm using the default Android message app.

Update: Finally got it working. In the messages app notification setting under "Importance" I had it set to "medium: no sound", thinking that this would disable any audible alert, it actually removes the vibrate option. It also stops the blinking light option although it stills shows as enabled. I ended up setting it to "high: make sound" and then selecting "none" from the sound list.

I'm getting led for everything except Facebook and fb messenger.(unless I just haven't noticed it). Everything else is fine. Anyone else?
