Exactly, but it's not just google. All these $900 flagship prices are out of control IMO. the Oneplus is so attractive because of the $500 price tag. Every reviewer agrees it's the best value you can get in a cell phone. I might even switch to at&t so I can actually get one. I have a pixel 2 XL and I have no complaints at all. I just hate that it cost almost a $1000 dollars.

I agree with you. I have the smaller Pixel 2 and really had to work at swallowing the price tag. It's an excellent phone for sure, but prices of smartphones in general are getting ludicrous! In Canada, an iPhone X is $1300. That's approximately two months' rent for me! I just don't understand it.

The OnePlus 6 is definitely the best value you can get for your money - I wholeheartedly agree.

I live in Toronto and I wish I could say the same The price of the iPhone X is pretty much half my monthly rent.
