Pixel 2 - Phone call ends when answered

Hi all
Not sure if anyone has seen this issue. one of my pixel 2 phones ends the call when it is answered while using anther app. so if you are in an app, and the an incoming call comes; you answer and the phone call ends and sends the caller to voicemail
