Pixel 2 XL and Mini Home issues on P Beta

Not sure if this is the right section for this question. I received a Google Home Mini with my Pixel 2 XL. We already have a Google Home Mini in the house that is hooked up to the internet. I was trying to hook the new Mini to the same network but I keep getting a can't connect message. The Google Home app finds the new Mini so I'm not sure where to go from here. I tried to look online for a fix and tried a few things, no luck. I am on the P Beta.
