Pixel 2 XL Night Light Came On by Itself

A couple months ago my battery saver came on by itself because Google was running some tests. Many other people (thousands?) had the battery saver actuate by itself, including my son and my wife's 2 XL.

Just now, my screen suddenly went to an amber tint and the brightness was reduced. I checked my display settings and found that the Night Light was on a schedule to come on at 10:00 pm and shut off at 6:00 am. I most certainly did not program my phone to do this. I wonder what caused it?

Anybody else have this happen?

Can neither confirm nor deny; I normally have Night Light turned on at sunset, and it is on.

Well, the 10pm to 6am is the default and out of the box schedule that ships with the phone.

So now you only need to figure out how it turned on
