Pixel 2 XL security update

So I have my new phone but it is on the September update and says no new updates available. Is every one else the same way?

Yes, I'm guessing there will be an update in a week or two or may be they will directly jump to November patch given its so close to end of month.

Mine pulled an update the other day and I'm still on September's security patch

Yeah. Same. I thought they said that with the pixels, it will be just like iPhone. If we check for updates, we get it right away.

If there isn't one there's nothing to pull. Those updates have to be set up for each model and its likely because of release timing for Pixel 2 that they will roll October's into novembers.
