Pixel 2 XL stuck in 8.0.0 Android

[Android Central Question]

The Pixel 2 XL won't update to 8.1. When I check for updates it tells me I have the latest version of Android. Also Bluetooth has just out right stopped working on the phone. Any ideas?

Neither mine nor my wife's will update yet. they push those out in batches and while I'm also annoyed that I've not yet been able to update I'm thinking it'll be available soon

Your choices now are wait for it to show or sideload the update.
Google has admitted there is a problem that will be corrected early in the new year of being able to hit the update button and pull the update for those that don't want to wait.

I would seriously consider not upgrading. Battery life has certainly taken a pretty big hit since I upgraded a couple days ago.

Dude it's been what, 5 days since 8.1 came out? Relax. These things roll out in waves.

How long have you been having the problem?

Noticed the faster battery drain right after upgrading. Wanted to make sure so last night at 11:00 pm I turned on airplane mode. Even with that lost 8% from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
Need to monitor it more but I'd say it's at least 25% worse since upgrading to 8.1

Same thing on my end, battery life has been less then desirable.
