Pixel 3 vs. 2

As a poor college student, is the 3 really worth going for over the 2? Especially considering I can get a pixel 2 for much cheaper now that the three is widely available

If you don't have the money to spare I would recommend the the 2 because it's a very capable phone.

I have a 2 and at least for me there's no compelling reason to get a 3.

I have a 2 also and see no reason to upgrade. As has been said the 2 is a very capable device still. The price of admission to a 3 boggles my mind and I saw no need to pick one up. Not at all a fan of the forced gestures with no other option. If my 2 broke today i'd replace it with another 2.
OP, get a 2 and save some money.
