Hello all,

Now that a lot of people are starting to get their Pixel 4, I wanted to ask those who previously owned a Pixel 3 what they think of the front facing camera and the battery life between the 3 vs 4 (not XL versions). For the front facing camera, I read they removed autofocus? Has that affected performance? For the battery, just from usual use, does it last about the same or shorter than the 3?

I generally like upgrading each year but this is the first year where I think some aspects of the new phone are worse than the year prior.

Thanks!

I've had the pixel 4 xl (not small 4)for 24 hrs and so far I feel like it lasts longer than my pixel 3 xl and I had super heavy usage bc I spent like 3 hrs of the screen on time installing, updating apps and adding all my accounts.

Th front facing camera is great bc it's not much less wider than the 3's wind angle selfie camera so I'm happy with it. Much wider than the default front facing pixel 3 camera. I'll report back on battery numbers after a couple of days.

To be clear, you're saying you feel the 4 (non XL) feels like battery life is better than that of the 3 XL?
Crap sorry totally miss read the post. No my testing is on the XL model. I'll delete my reply sorry about that.
