Pixel 3a Owners - Your Help Please

I am currently using a Pixel 3xl and really enjoy the phone. Thinking practically though, I am seriously considering downgrading to the Pixel 3a. There are a few reasons for this. First, I would like a bit of a smaller phone. Second, I want a phone I can rock naked that I wont have constant anxiety about shattering glass on the front and back if I drop it. Beyond that, I just realize this phone is way more power than I currently use. I dont play any games and only use my phone for the basics.

I have been looking around for info on battery life experiences with the Pixel 3a. I have seen sites where people post comments about getting 8-9 hours of screen on time between charges. I have also seen posts where people say they are getting 3-4 hours. I want good battery life in my phone. This is one thing I wont put up with.

What have your experiences been with the Pixel 3a?

I usually get 5 to 6 hrs on screen time. Could get more but work at a place with bad signal.

Not sure what my screen on time is, but with moderate usage and always connected to a smartwatch I can get a few hours more than a day. I would not say the battery life is the best but it's manageable for my needs.

You may want to still use a case, since it's polycarbonate it could scratch easily. I use the MNML case and it's hardly noticable.

Part of the reason I would make the switch is to just enjoy the phone even if it gets some scratches. Right now I'm using my 3xl naked and I love it but worry a drop will cause me a large expense
