Pixel 4 and 4 XL screen differences

I'm trying to decide which pixel to get. I prefer the smaller form factor but I dont want to be missing out on the better screen on the XL. Has anyone used both and noticed a big difference?

Yes have both, the XL does look sharper because of the higher resolution. Just in terms of quality I can't make out much difference between them. Both look good.

No only keeping one. Trying both to see which works best. I like smaller phones so want to test out the smaller one relative to big one to see how much difference battery life is for my usage. Based on that I'll make the decision on which to keep.

Size should be your determining factor. For me the regulator Pixel 3 and 4 are tiny phones, I could never use them regardless. But if you like small phones, the XL versions aren't for you.
