Pixel 4a or Samsung s20 fe

Y’all. Trying to break the never ending upgrading and spending money loop. So, looking at the Pixel 4a and S20 fe. Must haves:

Point and shoot pics. Even action shots I want clear.

Battery, meh. Everything is going to seem bad to me bc I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and this thing goes forever. It also takes excellent pics.

What do I do, y’all?

The 4a will be a solid point and shoot camera but the S20 FE will have much more versatility with the telephoto and wide angle lenses that the 4a just can't match. The FE has better video capabilities.

Also the FE has a 50% bigger battery so whole from what I've heard from a couple people with the 4a that it gets good battery life I have to think the FE will be better.

All that said, I don't love one UI on Samsung devices so the Pixel software certainly wins there is that's a big deal to you. The 4a is also half the price so you are getting a lot for your money.

the 4a camera will be better, but everything else will be better on the fe. Since the pixel 5 is the same price, i would get that over both of these phones if the fe is in your price range.

We both have/had 3xl's

I would not take a Samsung phone if it was free. The UI is total crap. There is nothing intuitive on the Samsung UI. It might be a little different if you come from Apple, bit if you are used to using Android the way it is supposed to be, you will get tired of looking at you tube every time you want to do the simplest things on your phone.

Or you will just send it back.
