Pixel 5 durability test by Jerry Rig Everything

I didn't watch the video, but read the article earlier today about the biopolymer build. Sounds like a we'll put together phone.

Put it this way it makes me want to rock this phone without a case that much more :D

At least it can hold up-to everyday use without a case :))

Yeah and it's difficult to get scratches on it according to Jerry and what he demonstrated while scrubbing it with his knife.... he says it's very durable.

I found myself cringing watching what he was doing to such a nice phone. I had to turn my Pixel 5 face down so she wouldn't see it.

From what I saw, the coating is rather thick. Kinda takes the wind out of the sails of those that are complaining they can see aluminum where the coating is wearing off.

It amazed me that the phone started again after the battery getting punctured and soaking in acetone for an hour.

Pixel 5 looking like a pretty durable phone overall. That’s impressive. I’d of thought the big gap in the sub frame under the case to accommodate the wireless charging would have caused the integrity of the whole body to suffer but the bend test didn’t show that at all. Seems to be pretty well made.
