Pixel 5 rumors

I'm mixed on the back camera shape and it's not that important. I don't like the forehead though.

I honestly don't mind the forehead as long as it's got some function built into it. I mean for those hand gestures in the Pixel 4 with the solely radar chip, I know that Google can build out the APIs in the programming for different applications for the usefulness of it. But regardless, am I still on it? Even without having a Pixel 4, I'm not 100% sold on it myself. And if it drains more battery than not, if I have a Pixel 4 or a Pixel 5 in the future, I would probably shut that feature off completely just to save battery power. I mean as far as the styling of my pixel 3XL, I Love a lot. Like I said having a notch means I have a wide angle selfie camera which I always use and it's really useful! That's what pixel phones are known for useful features. that being said I think the back part of the phone in the constant leaked images of the Pixel 5's is nice looking but it's just a leaked image at this point. For all I know, it could have been photoshopped and probably was. Lol.

The forehead just throws me off, but if the 5 was exciting enough I might overlook it. I just don't think there will be something ground breaking.

I mean we can all hope that something is groundbreaking... However, in all honesty, even modern day flagship phones in 2020 so far haven't been groundbreaking. They just have more hardware cameras more sensors... I'm not saying that's wrong, but it's also not great. Samsung's over compensating for image processing with a crap ton of cameras and their cameras do take very good pictures but they're still not beating Pixel cameras. Also, smartphone features haven't been groundbreaking and at least a couple of years in my opinion. There's nothing innovative about the many more. That's what was innovative about pixels was the algorithms and the image processing in the machine learning. The next true innovation of smartphones is foldable phones and the main streaming of 5G when it's ready for millimeter wavelength 5G bands.

I meant ground breaking enough within their own realm for me to move back to Pixel. Great snap shots in certain scenarios are OK but it has to be more than that. If the rumours are true the seem to be going backwards. As far as folding phones... No thanks.

I mean as far as folding phones are considered, in the future when they're built better, they improve themselves, and are cheaper I'm all for them honestly. as far as groundbreaking designs and innovations, I know that a lot of people want more than just good picture-taking but as far as real usable features pixel phones have them all. I know that other phones have more and more features there's no question about that, but most people don't use all of those features unfortunately.

I always say you have to run with what works for you.
