Hi all,

Anyone else having issues with whites showing as green tint at certain angles - mainly looking straight at the the screen? I heard this could be because it is an OLED panel?

Also, my pro seems to heat alot at the smallest tasks, facebook, mail , browsing etc? is this normal?

Haven't ran into any of those issues so far. I've been using it since 5:30 pm yesterday.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you just get the phone and set it up? The first day for a new phone can be pretty processor intensive, as you restore a backup and install lots of apps.

Also, if you don't have good 5G signal in your area, you may want to turn off 5G and just rely on 4G LTE, since that might also lead to battery drain and heating up.

Hi, I'm having that issue. The screen takes on a noticeable green tint when I look at it head on. Looking at it from an angle makes the tint go away. It's especially noticeable on white backgrounds and it's been bugging me for a while.

Welcome to Android Central! You're not using a screen protector, are you?

Wondering if you are seeing the effect of material you. They have certain colored tint on certain apps that support material based on the colors from the wallpaper.

My P6 is on att, and they disable the settings that allow switching to LTE. So I simply turned on battery saver which forces phone to LTE. The battery life went from "so-so" to great, right up there with my 5a.

Good tip -- but does Battery Saver impact anything else, like keeping apps active in the background?

I still can't believe how annoying AT&T is about this. I can't see how this would be necessary for the proper function of the phone on their network.:-\

It restricts certain apps which it deems unnecessary. Am not sure which ones, though.
