pixel 6 was pretty underwhelming

I had so many bug issues and the camera was meh. Anyone trade it in or sell it? I went back to the s21 ultra and gave the pixel 6 to my brother.

I guess some phones are not for everyone. I think if you have the s21 ultra you would find the more budget experience of the regular 6 less than stellar. It is personal preference. I am sure your brother is really happy with his new phone.

Plus most phones usually improve over the months with updates etc. My first generation Pixel took over a year before I was able to even get a signal inside of my place. I know that is unacceptable, but I had put so much faith into liking it as frustrated as I was, I decided to hang on to it

That's something I've always found really strange about pixels. So many people, including reviewers, give them a huge pass on so much stuff... One thing they seem to have successfully copied from Apple is the reality distortion field lol.

I have both the Pixel 6 and S21 Ultra and I like both of the phones because they each do some functions excellent. Pixel 6 is a great stock Android experience. For me it has great battery life. It also takes really good pictures.
With that said the Ultra does everything really good and has so many features it is tough to step down to a phone of lesser value but good. But in option the Pixel 6 can never compete with the S21 Ultra cause they are 2 really good phones but in different classes.

You have the regular pixel 6 or Pro?
I can't comment on the 6 but the Pro been very good .

My Pixel 6 is the main phone, Pixel 5a is backup, and my s21ultra is a backup for the backup.

Funny, I have found the opposite. Reviewers have tended to be overly critical of the Pixel line, finding little nitpicky things to pan. Remember the Pixel 2 screen tint with tilt, the 3 XL notch, the Pixel 4 battery, the Pixel 5 "lack of flagship specs"? And this forum certainly has its fair share of Pixel detractors.

I think for the Pixel 6 line, the combination of the persistently superb camera, the guaranteed regular support, the tight Google integration and lack of useless bloat, the amped-up specs compared to prior Pixels, and the unexpectedly lower price make for a compelling package.

I have both the S21 Ultra and the standard Pixel 6. The Pixel feels a little hollow compared to the Ultra and the fingerprint scanner is not good. Apart from that the Pixel 6 has been a pretty good experience and the camera is fantastic. Hopefully the fingerprint sensor improves with updates.

Had the 6 for a couple of days. Returned it, decided to keep GS21. The Pixel was just slightly too large for my diminutive hands. Felt too top heavy for me.

Agreed!
