Pixel 6a and Android 15 problems

I updated to Android 15 on 16 October and since then nothing but trouble. Sometimes it is unresponsive to touch and I need to exit the app to get things moving. If it happens I am in the home screen then I flick to another page an then back. Usually this works or I restart the phone.

However sometimes it is much more serious. The music will play but no sound. Other times I will attempt to restart but the restart or power off options in the pop up refuse to respond. Eventually something happens and it goes into a loop for several minutes (the 6a usually restarts promptly) and then starts up.

I am worried that eventually it will simply stop working completely.

Any advice? A factory reset is one, perhaps the only option. Are other 6a users having similar problems?

Thanks.

Also having the same issue, seems to have gotten much worse with the November security update. Screen just stops responding have to clear the cache of the app I'm in and restart my phone to get it to work again.

If it were me, these issues would be serious and frustrating enough that I would try a factory reset. If you do decide to do a factory reset, I would recommend backing up everything to Google One first. Free Google One accounts get 15GB of storage. INFO HERE

Welcome to AC!
Try safe mode for a certain period of time and see if it still happens?
