Pixel 7 S4 Watch. No notifications

I've just had the pixel 7 and brought the Galaxy S4. Try as I can, I can't get notifications to come on me watch. Everything is turned on both phone and watch, yet nothing, other than my Ring Doorbell. I've uninstalled Ware 3 times and reset the watch, I'm not stupid and no I'm not missing anything. Is anyone else having the same thing?

Welcome to Android Central! There was no Gear S4 watch -- I think that designation became the 1st gen Galaxy Watch. Is that what you have? What's the model number of the watch?
