So last year when magic eraser came out for the pixel 7pro I processed that phone. I sold out for the S23 Ultra that I have now. Then magic eraser came as a feature in the Google photos app. Do you think any of the pixel 8 camera features will come to other phones later with the user of Google photos app?

Do you have a Google 1 subscription? I paid $20 a year for 100 GB backup storage from my photos and I have accessibility in Google photos to do all the edits.. they do them for every phone that I own

Ditto this. Google 1 has good editing features. I do believe they'll come to Google 1.

Hopefully as google has great software features. Unblur works wonders on blurry photos (even ones not taken on the device). Although I'm getting the 8 pro I hope they make best take available in Google photos as it will be a much welcomed feature.

Best take is creepy to me. Necessary, but creepy. Heck. That goes for AI in general.

The S23U does have the ability to erase unwanted objects from photos using the default gallery app. I just used it and it works as good as the Google version. I'm not sure if there is an unblur feature. I will have to look harder.

Yeah, the object eraser is awesome, especially coupled with the S Pen ... I can really get down and detailed with it.

I've not come across an unblur type feature but they do have a remaster option. In my experience using remaster it isn't that great as it just seems to brighten things up a bit.

Agreed! I could not find an "unblur" feature but along with some of the other features such as sharpening etc., etc., you can achieve basically the same thing! I had the 7-Pro and now have the S23U and even though I was not happy with Samsung in the past I have to say the S23U is far superior to the 7 Pro. The one thing the 7 Pro does better is the way it handles SPAM calls/texts. I get a few spam calls that I have to dismiss manually on the Sammy whereas on the 7 Pro I received ZERO!

So, there's an unblur feature in the Galaxy Enhance-X app available in the Galaxy Store

In playing with it a bit it doesn't appear to be as effective as Google's unblur in Photos.

It's so weird how Samsung try to make the things they create impossible to find.
