Pixel 8Pro update and Pixel Watch 1 problem

Ever since I updated my Pixel 8 Pro to tje September 2024 update, it can no longer see my Pixel Watch 1. I have rebooted both devices and checked for all app updates. Even unstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled it and still doesn't see or synce with my watch.
Anyone else having this problem? Suggestions on fixing?

UPDATE: I discovered my PW1 sees my Pixel 8PRO. In the connectivity with Blutooth it says "Pixel 8 Pro disconnected" but my Pixel 8 Pro cannot see my PW1 when I tell it to connect to another device. So, it appears to me that it is a problem with my Pro 8. If I tell the PW1 to connect to another device it scans and does not see any other devices but it does see the phone. This all started after the September 2024 Pixel phone update happened.

P8P and PW1 here. No issue, but if I was having the issue, because it is a fairly easy and painless thing to do, I would try a factory reset for my watch to see if that fixes the issue.

Latest update:
After trying everything I could think of, I did a factory reset on my watch (as suggested) and once the watch was set up again all is well. Watch and phone work together
Strange that a phone update required a reset on the phone, but on to other issues

My P1 watch was a PITA to connect to the P9 Pro. I can't remember what I did but it wasn't a reset. Glad the Reset worked, good to know.
