Say you're looking at something on a web page or news article and want to share a specific section in messaging. You can to go to messaging, start your message, bring up the recent apps list and select and copy the text you want to share.

Obviously you could just copy before switching to messaging but sometimes you forget, or you were reading the article, went on to other things and then got a message related and want to share the information with that contact.

I clicked on the link....it's an old feature but not well....nothing wrong with reminding people. I found it useful

You could do this back on pixel 2 and 3 in recent apps grab the photo and share or just a sentence and share ?

Yeah....like if you wanted to copy text off a web site that wouldn't normally let you copy or as described or screenshots. The guy in the article doesn't state it's a new feature.

Yeah cant say for sure if that was there previously but for those not aware that's how its done.

Funnily enough it was a US only feature when it came out. But it works now. Forgot about the feature tbh
