Pixel from Google Store to Sprint?

Another newb question(s), since the pixel phones bought from the Google store are unlocked, am I correct in thinking I can buy one and put it on my Sprint plan? If so, is there anything special I have to do or have done to the phone? Will I still have all the features of the Pixel as demo'd during the reveal?

Im still debating on whether or not to go the Project Fi since it has Sprint anyway.....
