Pixel set up on Google Fi?

When I set the new P7P on Google Fi, is it better to use a physical Simm card or the eSimm?

If I use a physical simm, can I take it out and put it in the P7 and use that phone.

I've had Fi for years and done both, curious what the latest and best plan is, if there is a latest and best plan.

When I got my 4a 5G I was told to use the SIM because it was 5G. Didn't seem to make a lot of sense but I went with it. I might try using the E-SIM on the 7 and pop in the physical if something isn't working right.

I always use a physical SIM, because it's easier and quicker.. especially when switching between multiple phones . I won't be using ESIM till' I'm forced to

Speaking of forced to, AT&T tried to push me into using the ESIM option for me and the wife's new phones... didn't happen of course, but they're going down that road.

This plan seems to suit me best - will have 2 phones.
