Pixel setup still showing after setup is finished

Anyone else experiencing the same thing? I actually reset the phone twice last night after I finished setting it up the first time because the setup screen I attached wasn't progressing. It's stuck syncing Google contacts. After I reset it the second time last night, the setup is still showing today. It just keeps coming back even if I forced close the app. I'm pretty sure it's related to my contact app since it keeps saying "trouble syncing, waiting to try again" (screenshot attached)

Is it only syncing contacts from your Google Contacts in the cloud, or are there any other accounts?

Edit: actually I came from a Samsung Flip 4. Used it for a month, but back to a Pixel. Wonder if that's why? I was still using Google contacts on the Samsung, don't think I even opened the Samsung contact app. As far as I can tell, all my contacts is in the phone. Nothing is missing.

Go to your Google Contacts on your computer browser and see if there are any Samsung contacts (like customer service) that might have been synced to your cloud. if so, try deleting those, in case they're causing some kind of wonkiness.

When Mine was updating last night it hung up on Chrome Beta.It chugged away on that for a couple hours while I had it on the charger not paying attention. Not sure if you're using Beta or not but at least its a suggestion.

Thank you everyone for your response. I think I solved the issue. I backed up my contacts locally. Deleted the entire contacts after. Reboot the phone and then restored it. That seems to solve my issue!
