Pixel Snap Charger Stand - Charge with Case?

Who has a Pixel Snap Charge Stand and what cases have you used it with?

I have Google Store Credit and was thinking about using it on the stand. But with all the issues around the Pixel Stand 1 & 2 not charging the Pixel 10 Pro XL. When I case is being used.

I am rather hesitant to order.

I have four cases for my 10 Pro, 1 google, and 3 no name, one of my no name's does not charge but the other 3 charge just fine on pixel stand.

I have the Pixelsnap case (Google case) and it works with the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand.

My OG Pixel Stand worked perfectly with every phone, regardless of case. Pre P10PXL.

Charging the P10PXl is much more,of a PITA than is reasonable.

Ordered & received the Pixel Snap Charge Stand. It charges the P10PXL in my Spigen Ultra Hybrid case without an issue. I have not tried it with my other cases but do not expect any issues.

The charger is well weighted, charges without a problem, and I like that you can remove the charger from the stand. For easy wireless charging when traveling.

That said for the $70 price I find several aspects disappointing. The charge cable is too short. The length of the cable on the OG Pixel Stand was much better. Also on the OG Pixel Stand you could remove/swap the cable. That is not the case with the Snap. Finally the snap does not come with a wall wart.

None of those are a huge deal. But at $70 they are disappointing. In reality I am removing the lack of being able to swap cables from that complaint. As there are a number of reasons for that.

I think a $50 price better aligns.

The deal breaker for me so far has been the lack of a power adapter. I just can't get over Google being so cheap as to not include that. I understand not including it with the phone, but for $70 on a charger you're already buying separately, they should be including the adapter.

People already have several chargers at home.

And my snap stand and charger was only 40 at bestbuy thanks to a mixup few months ago.

"people" is pretty vague. Most of who I speak to are bothered by it, and it's likely because not all the old chargers we may have at home are capable of producing the new charging speeds. That's why it's bothersome to most.
