Pixel suddenly cannot connect to internet. WTF?

[Android Central Question]

I have a first gen Pixel that never had wifi issues until a couple of days ago. Now i can't connect at all. I have tried restarting, forgetting the network, turning the network off and on, rebooting in safe mode, changing settings to not connect automatically, toggling airplane mode, etc. Everything short of the factory reset. What recourse do i have here? This is ridiculous.

Put the pixel in safe mode and verify its not an app. Of course, check your wifi settings too.
