Pixel Watch 2 Random Restarts

Are any other AC members having random restart issues with their Pixel Watch 2? I have been having them and checked out both the Google Pixel Watch Help Community and Reddit and it appears to be a widespread issue without a definitive solution as of yet.

Are you using Fitbit on your watch? Some have posited that Fitbit may be the culprit for those experiencing issues.

Yes sir! And I wear it at night for sleep tracking. I'm also on the latest WearOS.

Thanks for your input. Because I bought the watch just at the point that Google paused the Wear OS 5 update, I am still on OS 4, Android 13 July (really August) security patch. I guess that I can hope that the update, when re-released, will fix the restart issue. I know that I could flash the update, but I keep thinking every day that Goggle will re-release the official update "tomorrow." I know that I could also strap on my original Goggle Watch (which works perfectly, by the way) if the restarts were irritating enough. However, so far, I more perplexed than irritated and know that Google will definitely re-release the official update "tomorrow."

I also wear the watch at night and, strangely, that is one of the times that I encounter the odd restart. I tried all of the fixes shown on the Google Pixel Watch Help Community and Reddit, but, alas, no love.

UPDATE: The random restarts appear to be gone after the November update to Wear OS 5 and Android 14. Fingers crossed.

Mine has been doing random restarts for months. It's especially annoying when it restarts in the middle of a workout! I haven't updated mine yet. I'll do that and see how it goes.
