Pixel XL 2 powering off....

New issue with Pixel XL 2. Upon plugging into the USB C provided...Phone will randomly power off. Also touch screen issues popping up. Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Someone in another thread reported a problem with the phone rebooting (or shutting down - I don't remember which) when connecting a USB C dongle. You might look to see if there's anything to be gleaned from that.
You should contact Google and see what support they can provide.

So I got a chance to mess around with this some more today. Last night after my phone had powered off and I went to power it back on, it came on without issue but when I plugged it in it would not charge. I moved to the wall plug to a different Jack in the room with no luck then I reverse the cable since it is the same on both ends and that seemed to resolve the issue. Now It is charging and has not powered off upon being plugged in just yet. Fingers crossed

I'd say so except I just recall this happening at work yesterday with a totally different cable and charger.

Is your phone still in the 14 day return period? If so you should return it. If not, file an RMA with Google rather than waiting around for the problem to get worse.
